Finance Minister and Member of Parliament for Karaga Constituency, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam disclosed the establishment of an educational support fund for journalists in the Northern Region during the 2024 Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Northern Regional Awards in Tamale.
According to a report by Radio Justice 98.5, the minister allocated GHC 500,000 as seed money for the initiative.
The fund dubbed “Anta-GJA Scholarship For Journalists in the Northern Region” aims to provide financial assistance to journalists to pursue further education and other capacity building programs.
