Following the withdrawal of Hajia Lariba Abudu from the NPP parliamentary primary race, the NPP at its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held on September 11, 2024 endorsed Dr. Tiah Mahama Kabiru as the party’s parliamentary candidate for Walewale constituency for the 2024 elections.
In a statement signed by the NPP General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong the party expressed appreciation to Hajia Lariba Abudu for bowing out of the contest and urged her including all party stakeholders in the constituency to support the candidacy Dr. Tiah Mahama Kabiru.
